Core Live Evaluations - Species

Usenet and other Forums are populated by different 'species'. The term "species" is used, as the personality of the individual is possibly a complete different one in the "real life" outside the internet. An quick overview of the most important.

The Regulars

This species posts regularly on a forum, which of course says nothing about the quality of their posts, and thus their expertise. Some of them have no idea what they are talking about - and just repeat (rhetorically blown) what they read.

The Troll

Everything which annoys the sensitive souls of the "regular posters' is categorized as a "troll". There are of course real trolls, which could not exist without the inability of the regulars to ignore them.

The Incapable

This species is incapable to ignore mentally or even technically messages of another poster (e.g.: setup a filter in the kind "if sender == troll ingore thread"). (how to setup a Core Live Eval Filter)

The Counselor

Suggesting other posters 'the right things': "Social interaction", processing models, how to write, how to go pee... whilst forgetting that they do 'the wrong thing': writing fully off-topic. The Counselor Species has the arrogance to think it has the background-information to suggest. It has not. What it has: the doumbness to ingore information which is just 'one click' away.

The Saboteurs

In ignorance of any forum etiquettes, those people write things not relevant to the topic, this way degrading the value of the thread.

The Simulated Stupidity

This Species writes nonsense, in the hope to degrade even the most concise and precise argumentation lines. The species doesn't care about it's own reputation within public and archieved media.

The Cyber Doctors

One of the most evil species, which can cause serious damage to people. This species has the unbelievable arrogance to analyze the psychology of a person without any visual contact. The Cyber Doctor Species did not realize: written conversation is a simple method to simulate nearly every behaviour pattern.

The Democrats

Whilst ignoring the construct "rights of an individual", the Democrat Species shouts in the name of the majority for the 'execution' of a poster. Many situations reminds a witch-hunting herd. What sounds funny is essentially very sad: it prooves that humanity is basicly still in the mid-century - Just give the Democrats the right playground, they will execute the different thinking criticizing individual - in the name of Democracy.

The Silent

Nobody sees them, nobody hears them. But they are there. They read, day by day, derive conclusions. When talking in a forum do always remember on thing:
